JAMMU, Nov 11: To discuss the prevailing situation in the State and role of BJP, a close door joint meeting of the top brass of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) and BJP was held here, today.
The meeting was chaired by RSS Prant Pracharak, Ramesh Puppa and senior RSS leader Parshotam Dadichi was also present in it. The BJP leaders who were present in the meeting included State president, Sat Sharma, Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh, MPs, Jugal Kishroe Sharma and Shamsher Singh Manhas, Party general secretaries, Ashok Kaul and Dr Narinder Singh.
Sources said the functioning of BJP in the State, prevailing political situation, issues faced by the people especially those living on border areas who have been facing problems due to firing from Pakistani side and host of other issue came up for discussion during the meeting.
Sources said the meeting stressed on increasing coordination between the BJP ministers, Legislators and party activists in the larger interests of the people.
