BJP only power hungry: Manohar

KATHUA, Oct 1: Former Minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today said that the BJP and Modi Government is only working to remain in power and nothing to do with the problems of common men of the country, which is evident from their style of functioning.
Dr Sharma said this while interacting with the people including Sarpanches and Panches during his two-day tour to different villages of Billawar constituency. During The tour, Dr Sharma visited various villages including Kishanpur, Dher, Kah, Durang, Dewal, Surara (Malti), Dodan (Tharakalwal), Dhalli, Banocheck, Ramkote, Tandary, Jumble (Mangloor) and Billawar town.
The former Minister said that the problems which are being faced by every country men is increasing day by day whether it may be price rise, steep rise in unemployment, rise in crime on women and corruption, lack of developmental activities, bad scenario of power and other basic day to day facilities, etc.
He said that the way of functioning of BJP Government is completely responsible to increase dissatisfaction among masses and unrest in every section of society. He said BJP should introspect their policy failure instead of humiliating, torturing and attacking leaders of opposition as well as their own party leaders who dare to raise voice against their wrong polices.
Dr Sharma further said that the power scenario of State in general and Jammu in particular can be judged by the power availability during Navratas due to which massive protests were seen. “BJP Government which comes to power on pretext and promise of giving good administration has totally failed and the people are feeling betrayed by BJP on this issue”, he added.
