JAMMU, June 10: With an objective of bringing all the sections of the society together and strengthen social fabric, Reasi district unit of BJP organized a programme on ‘ social equality’, wherein, the speakers stressed to work on PM Narendra Modi’s line of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas”.
Minister of State & local MLA, Ajay Nanda; SC, ST, BC Development Corporation Vice Chairperson, Balbir Ram Rattan and BJP Anusuhit Jaati Morcha State general secretary, Karan Bhagat, were prominent among those who expressed their views on taking all the sections of the society together to built a strong and developed nation.
They highlighted various schemes of BJP Government at the Centre launched during the last four years for socio economic upliftment of the weaker sections.
Nanda briefed the gathering about Modi Government’s concern for equitable welfare and development of all the sections, particularly weaker sections and said that people of all walks of life are taken care while launching welfare schemes by Union Government.
Balbir Ram shared welfare schemes of SC, ST, BC Development Corporation and said that Union Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and Ministry of Tribal Affairs run various schemes for the benefit of weaker sections and the State Govt too contributes towards it. He also explained the procedure to avail benefits of such schemes.
Karan Bhagat said that BJP Anusuchit Jaati Morcha is making all efforts to reach the members of the SC community with the welfare schemes of the Modi Govt adding that what the present Government has done for weaker sections during the last four years has been splendid.
While BJP Reasi district general secretary Joginder Singh conducted proceedings of the programme, local senior leaders Kuldeep Mengi, Chaman Bhagat, Neelam Sharma, Tripta Dubey, Sheel Magotra, Vikrant Singh and others also addressed the gathering.
