BJP organizes free medical camp

JAMMU, June 3,: In continuation with foundation day celebrations of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and in relation with birth Centenary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, the State unit of BJP under the leadership of Yudhvir Sethi, BJP State Vice President organized another free medical camp in the premises of Gurdwara at Simbal Camp wherein over 300 patients were given free consultancy and provided with free test facilities at the venue. Baldev Bloweria B.J.P district president Jammu and Ashwani Sharma B.J.P district vice president Jammu also extended  support  and cooperate in the camp.
The camp was organised in collaboration with Fortis Escort Hospital, Amritsar and Neurosurgeon Dr Sukand Rai, Orthopaedic Dr Ranjeet Singh and Dr Priyanka Sharma examined patients and extended their consultations to them free of cost. Amit Bagotra and Rajeev Sharma besides BJP Karyakartas extended their help in successful completion of camp that was held for the first time in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi said that BJP is organising free medical and health checkup camps in all three regions of Jammu and Kashmir State purely on humanitarian basis in which acclaimed and specialist doctors are giving their consultations free of cost. Yudhvir said large number of patients are utilising these services in all three regions of State at their doorsteps. ‘We intend to take these medical camps at district level wherein patients will be examined in cardiac, neurology and orthopaedic OPDs besides tests related to BP, sugar, BMD & ECG will also be conducted.
Yudhvir Sethi revealed that BJP workers at district levels who have been roped in along with doctors and paramedical staff are extending all necessary help/aid to the visitors/patients at respective places and ensuring that poorest of people are given access to medical camps for their welfare and a healthy life.
