LEH, (LADAKH), Nov 16: BJP today released its manifesto for Leh district of Ladakh region.
The manifesto seeks Union Territory Status for Ladakh region.
It also promises that Party if voted will strive for inclusion of Bhoti Language in the 8th schedule of the Constitution of India, early completion of the Nimo-Padum-Darcha Road, opening of Central University in Leh with Medical & Engineering Collages and opening of Kailash – Mansarover Road via Demjok for pilgrimage & tourism.
The manifesto also promises Deemed University status for the Central Institute of Buddhist Studies, Leh, special employment package for both the educated & un-educated youth of Ladakh, mobile phone connectivity in all rural areas and border villages of Ladakh and increased flight frequency to Leh.
