JAMMU, Nov 5: BJP Mahila Morcha has opened up “Women Grievance Cell” to facilitate the women to approach appropriate authorities for guiding them and providing them the means of accessibility to various procedures. This was disclosed by Mahila Morcha, State president, Rajni Sethi while she addressed a press conference at Party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar today. Click here to watch video
Rajni Sethi was also accompanied by general secretaries, Sanjita Dogra, Shailja Gupta, State secretary, Neha Mahajan and State media secretary, Prerna Nanda.
Rajni Sethi disclosed that BJP State Mahila Morcha is establishing a “Women Grievance Cell”, which will function only in three constituencies of Jammu district i.e Jammu West, Jammu East and Gandhi Nagar. She said that after this the Cell will also be established in different districts as well. She said that the Grievance Cell will remain open for alternate days i.e. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the timing will be from 12 noon to 3 p.m. The women who want to contact for their grievances can also give call on 7051808068, she added.
Rajni Sethi also disclosed that the stress will be given on providing information about Centrally sponsored schemes especially for women folk, initiated by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi like marriage assistance scheme, widow pension, old age pension, Physically challenged etc. and it will be made sure that the cases for these schemes be followed up till their desired results and benefits to the targeted population.
