JAMMU, May 23: Reinforcing its commitment to the welfare of the displaced community, BJP KDD delegation led by Rajeev Pandita, visited Swaran Colony, Gole Gujaral Camp, Trilokpur falling under Jammu West Constituency and Kheer Bhawani Mandal. The visit followed representations made by local residents regarding the prevailing civic issues in the area.
The delegation conducted an on-ground inspection of the lanes and drainage system, which have reportedly remained neglected for a long time by the concerned authorities. During the visit, the team interacted extensively with the residents and listened to their grievances regarding damaged lanes, inadequate drainage facilities, and the deteriorating civic infrastructure in the locality.
The residents expressed serious concern over the lack of maintenance and highlighted the hardships being faced by them, particularly with the approaching Monsoon season, which could further aggravate the situation.
Addressing the residents BJP KDD district president, Rajeev Pandita assured them that the matter would be strongly taken up with the JMC Commissioner and the concerned departments to ensure that the required repair and developmental works are completed at the earliest, well before the onset of the Monsoon season.
BJP KDD reiterated its unwavering commitment towards genuine public issues and ensuring timely action for the welfare, convenience, and better living conditions of the people.
