JAMMU, June 1: Member of Parliament & BJP Parbhari for J&K, Avinash Rai Khanna, while addressing a meeting of State office bearers, senior leaders, MLAs, district, Mandal and Morcha presidents, said that the Party is going to form next Government in Jammu and Kashmir on its own.
Avinash Rai Khanna, while congratulating the Party leaders and activists for the massive victory of the BJP in the State, urged them to gear up for the upcoming Assembly elections in the State. He said the political situation in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh is very conducive for electoral success and added that the Narendra Modi wave will strongly sweep the State like rest of the country.
Underscoring the significance of BJP victory in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, Khanna said that the formation of the BJP Government in the State is a historical necessity as it alone could defeat the regressive forces and promote mainstream politics in the State leading to it’s complete Constitutional and emotional integration with India.
“Mission 44+ is the mission of J&K BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants the BJP Government in the State”, he said and added that the goal is achievable as the BJP this time broke all previous records and got more than 32 per cent of the total votes polled. He expressed hope that the BJP leadership and cadres will start work to achieve the mission in right earnest without loosing a single moment.
Member of Parliament & State President of the Party, Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the people want NC and Congress free State and our role has become all the more important to fulfill the wishes of the people. He said that complete wipe out of NC-Congress coalition candidates in Lok Sabha elections is a clear indication of the resolve of people who are again ready to repose faith in us in forthcoming Assembly elections.
He said that every single activist of the Party has to put more efforts to achieve the desired goal in J&K.
National Executive Member, Dr. Nirmal Singh said that “we have succeeded in achieving our mission 272+ in Lok Sabha elections which have added to the morale of party activists,. We have to work with same zeal to achieve next target in the State so that we form our Government”. He said that a new era of ending dynasty rule has started and the count down for NC -Congress coalition has begun.
Earlier, State general secretary (org.) Ashok Koul sought details about organisational and political activities being undertaken at district and mandal level across the State from respective district and mandal presidents .He also announced that the District Working Committee meetings will be held between June 10 to June 30 and Mandal Working Committee meetings will be held from July 1 to July 31 . He further announced that one-day State Working Committee meeting will be held on June 23 at Jammu.
BJP Leader of Legislative Party Ashok Khajuria, National Executive Member Shamsher Singh Manhas and State Vice-President Col. (retd) Uttam Singh also shared dais with Khanna. State General Secretary Kavinder Gupta conducted the proceedings of the meeting.
