JAMMU, July 27: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is committed to all round development of Gandhi Nagar.
Randhawa said this after inaugurating a lane and drain at Azad Nagar in Gadigarh Panchayat of Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment. He said that the slogan of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ will be visible to the people of Gandhi Nagar and entire Jammu and Kashmir as well.
He said that the priority of the BJP is to provide all basic facilities to the people to win their trust irrespective of caste, colour and creed. He said after `Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ now the BJP has come up with new slogan ‘Sabka Vishwas’ and to achieve this BJP will leave no stone unturned.
He assured the people that mega developmental projects for the area are in offing and work on many has started as well. He said that the condition of the roads has improved to a large extent and the left out roads will be blacktopped soon. The lane and drain which was inaugurated today has been constructed at a cost of Rs 5 lakh which were released out of Constituency Development Fund (CDF) of the MLC.
He further assured the people that all their demands would be fulfilled on priority basis.
Randhawa also made people aware regarding various welfare schemes of the Government and urged them to come forward and avail benefits of the social welfare schemes which are meant for the poor and down trodden section of the society.
The locals appreciated the role of Vikram Randhawa in carrying out development in their area and extended full support to BJP in the coming future as well.
