BJP a truly secular party: Manhas

JAMMU, Apr 13: BJP senior leader and MP (Rajya Sabha) Shamsher Singh Manhas today declared that he will be at the beck and call of the people of the State round the clock.
Addressing a felicitation function organized in his honour by Paloura Welfare Committee (PWC) today Mr Manhas said BJP is a disciplined Party and believes in selfless service, discipline, service to mankind etc. He said BJP is not a communal but a truly secular organization which believes in justice to all and appeasement to none.
Manhas said that BJP is not for power but for it power is a means to serve the nation and people.
He said the main reason of joining coalition by the Party with PDP in the State is that BJP wanted to serve the masses of the State who have faced many hardships and problems due to wrong policies of previous rulers since 1947. The Party is committed to give people a corruption free Government that treats all three regions alike and takes State on the path of development.
Regarding the problems being faced by the people of the area, Mr Manhas said that he will settle the all problems of the people of Paloura. Being a local he is fully aware of the problems of the people and he will leave no stone unturned in settling them.
He also urged the Welfare Committee to work for welfare and spread the message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in every nook and corner.
President of the Welfare Committee Er Vijay Sharma apprised the MP of the local problems. The function was also addressed by Balbir Singh Manhas Chairman of the Committee.
