JAMMU, May 13: The followers and devotees of `Art of Living’ celebrated 58th birthday of great spiritual personality, Sri Sri Ravi Shanker in a function organised at Indira Chowk here today.
Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Shantmanu was the chief guest on the occasion. A large number of volunteers and followers of Art of Living attended the programme. A community Langar and `Shabeel’ was also arranged for the devotees. The programme commenced with mass `Sadhna’ and `Sudershan Kriya’ by the devotees in the morning. Another programme `Anand Ki Lehar’ was organised in the evening at Govt College for Women, Gandhi Nagar. A famour singer from Chandigarh Anil Sagar provided a treat of devotional music stirring the depths of many souls.
Programme Coordinator Subash Shastri, addressed the gathering besides others. Arunima Sinha and Ashok, teachers of Art of Living educated the gathering about the art of living. Prominent among others present included Rahul Saini, H L Abrol, Jagdish Choudhary, Sanjeev Sharma, Neerja, Meera Amla, Col (Retd) K Chandran, Somesh Vaid, Nirmal Kanta and A K Shastri.
