JAMMU, Nov 29: Under the Prime Minister’s Housing for All schemes, district president Jammu BJP and the Corporator, Baldev Singh Billawaria gave approval letters to many beneficiaries’ here, today.
In a statement issued here, Billawaria said the acceptance letter of Rs 1.65 Lakh will be helpful to people in making their own houses. On this occasion, Billawaria said that now the Modi Government has approved the online application for the housing scheme and the poor people living in cities who do not have a home can apply online. The online application for the Prime Minister Housing Scheme is also open in 2018 and any eligible person can apply for the scheme, he added.
Billawaria said that for applying, two photographs of Aadhaar number and passport size are necessary under the scheme.
Baldev said that the number of total sanctioned houses under the Prime Minister’s housing scheme has now increased to 65 lakh. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has approved the construction of 2,05,442 houses for the benefit of the poor under the Prime Minister’s housing scheme. This approval was given in the meeting of Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee (CSMC) in New Delhi. In this scheme, 1,16,042 habitations were sanctioned for Maharashtra whereas for Karnataka 31,657 houses were sanctioned, 26,880 for Bihar, 15,529 for Tamil Nadu and 15,334 for Jammu and Kashmir. The people have to again vote for BJP in the 2019 Parliamentary elections and ensuring victory of party candidates by huge margin of votes so that every poor will get the benefit of the schemes and live respectable life. On this occasion BJP district general secretary, Vinay Gupta and Ward president, Ranjit Singh were also present.
