JAMMU, Sept 5: Coping up with the long pending demand of inhabitants of the area, BJP senior leader Baldev Singh Billawaria inaugurated a newly installed transformer at Ward number 56, Gangyal of Gandhi Nagar constituency.
He was accompanied by PDD officials and political activists of the area. The transformer installed in the area is of 250 KVA capacity and will cater to the needs of inhabitants of the areas. The work includes setting up of pipe poles, wiring, the setting of a new station and other accessories.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that it was indeed a long pending demand of the locals and the same has been met so that a major relief could be provided to the inhabitants in these scorching summers as earlier the transformer installed was of low capacity and it caused major disruption including low voltage and frequent power cuts.
