Billawar gets J&K Bank ATM

KATHUA, Nov 20: To facilitate the pilgrims visiting religious sites, J&K Bank commissioned an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) in the famous Billawar town here.
Home to the revered Mahabilvakeshwar temple and many other edifices of religious importance, the town experiences heavy footfall on account of religious tourism.
Zonal Head Jammu (Central II) Sudhir Gupta inaugurated the ATM in presence of Cluster Head Vinay Gupta amid a gathering of local people, members of trade and business community, officials of the bank and pilgrims visiting the area.
“J&K Bank remains committed to provide hassle-free banking facilities at important places for the convenience of the general public. The ATM would provide cash and other banking facilities round-the-clock to the pilgrims besides locals”, the Zonal Head said post inauguration of the ATM.
The Zonal Head also urged the public to avail the customer-friendly products and schemes of the bank that have been customized to meet their financial and banking requirements.
Notably, besides the temple, the town is renowned for many other monuments and tourist places like the Hottar Temple, the Durga Temple of Kohag, the Sacred Heart Church in Phinter, the Durga Temple of Kohag etc.
