JAMMU, Oct 6: Bharat Bhushan Sharma was declared elected as president of Jammu Chhamb Group Passenger Service Union in the elections conducted under the supervision of Government appointed Magistrate Ist Class.
Bharat Bhushan Sharma got record127 votes and defeated his nearest rival Laab Singh (Kaka) who got 63 votes. The third candidate Ashok Khajuria managed to get only 35 votes. There were total 229 votes of which 225 were cast.
President ekect nominated Sikandar Singh as chairman who will nominate other working committee members within a week’s time for Chhamb Passenger Service Union, Jammu.
