UDHAMPUR, Sept 12: Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur organised a two day inte-section table tennis tournament for the students, which concluded at the College Campus, here today.
A total of 36 students participated in the tournament and 34 matches were played. The tournament was smoothly conducted under the supervision of Rajesh Verma, Director Sports and Physical Education.
The winners of semifinals were Ankit, Rajat, Raman and Kunal while the final was played between Ankit and Raman, wherein Raman was declared the winner in boys category.
In the girls category, the quarterfinal were played between Asia, Swati, Rachna, Shweta, Pooja and Simran as Pooja and Simran got a bye in the first round. The semifinals were won by Simran and Pooja. The finals were played between Pooja and Simran, in which Simran was declared the winner.
The chief guest was chief patron of the College, Ashok Khajuria, while Shiv Kumar and members of Management, Prof. Sukham Chand Principal Bhartiya College of Education , Principal Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur and faculty members were present on the occasion.
The winners were awarded trophies by the chief guest.
