JAMMU, Sept 26: Minister for Housing, Horticulture, Culture, Youth Services and Sports Raman Bhalla released an Audio and Video CD ‘Chandi De-Dawar, Ho Rahi Jai Jaikar’ sung by daughter of soil and a popular singer of Jammu and Kashmir Sonali Dogra at an impressive function held at Press Club here this evening.
The Audio and Video CD titled ‘Chandi De-Dwaar, Ho Rahi Jai Jaikar” is a collection of bhajans of Chandi Mata Shivji and Maa Dogra.
Music for the album has been composed by prominent music Director Sahil (Lucky), Choreographer Akash Dogra, Lyrics by Raman Kumar, Raju Haripuria, Laddi Singh Puria, Danish Salathia besides supervised by Basant Vyogi.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bhalla complimented the singer of the Audio and Video CD Sonali Dogra besides musicians and composer on the release of her Bhajan CD and blessed for her bright future in the field of music. He appreciated the efforts of the organizers and hoped this would go in long way to promote local talent of the region.
The Minister said Government is making all out efforts to promote such type of budding artists of the State to national and international competitions.
In her brief address, Sonali Dogra informed the Minister that she also performed in Voice of Punjab (PTC), Indian Idol, Voice of India (Star Plus), All India Devotional Song competition at Katra. She stood first in all the competitions and brought laurels for the State. She further informed that she also took part in Punjabi World Wide movie ‘the blood street’ as leading singer.
