Bhalla inaugurates new branch of Stepping Playway School

JAMMU, Mar 11: Former Minister and senior Congress leader, Raman Bhalla today inaugurated new branch of Stepping Playway School at Govind Pura, here.
Principal and owner of the school, Meenakshi Sharma highlighted the facilities being provided in the school.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhalla said that in J&K we have very far flung areas where the people are not able to teach their children properly. We are living in an inquiring and innovation-oriented society. The demand of twenty first century is novelty, creativity and integration of knowledge at global level.
He further said to prepare the children to cope with the present situation, needs to develop analytical and critical thinking, skill and attitude that would make them more flexible and innovative to deal with uncertainty and crises.
He alleged that the condition of most of the Government schools were not good in terms of buildings, availability of teachers and most importantly in quality education. However, the good school education can play its crucial role in students’ building.
“Education as a service to society and imparted with a sole aim of nation building is divine phenomenon but same done for commercial interests and material desires, ruins the sacred aim of providing education”, he asserted.
Amrit Bali, PCC member, Pawan Bhagat, Dr Rakesh Gupta, Gandhi Singh, Ex. Cantonment member, Sona (panch), Ravi Bhagat, Parshotam Bhagat, Pritam Khanna, Rajinder Gupta, Pankaj Sahni, Balak Ram Gupta and Dwarka Nath Mahajan were present on the occasion.
