BGSBU hosts seminar on Indian Stock Market

RAJOURI, Feb 3: The School of Management Studies, BGSBU University organized a seminar on “Trading in Indian Stock Exchange in the University Campus, here today.
The objective of the seminar was to impart proper skill and awareness of Stock Marketing Practices among the business students so that they can handle these issues efficiently in the changing business scenario.
The seminar was organized under the leadership of Prof I A Hamal, Vice Chancellor of BGSBU, who is keen to organize educational activities like seminars and workshops.
Prof S K Gupta, Head, School of Management Studies while speaking on the occasion emphasized that the management training is different from normal teaching.
Earlier, Kafeel Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Coordinator of the event presented welcome address. He also delivered a lecture on Indian stock market.
6 students namely Waquar Mehmood Khan, Shilpa Suri, Shahid Mallik, Zahid Rahim Bhat, Sheraz Malik and Adil Ahmed Sheikh from MBA and BBA presented papers on different streams related to stock market.
Vote of thanks was presented by Jatinder Kumar, Assistant Professor, while the proceedings of the seminar were conducted by Anisha Bashir, student of MBA fourth semester.
