RAJOURI, Nov 14: In a move that will ensure the ease of governance and expediting the administrative process, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri has decided to go paperless.
In this connection, Vice Chancellor of the University Prof Javed Musarrat launched IT enabled services including online recruitment process and paperless eco friendly communication system in a function held at Vice Chancellor Secretariat.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Musarrat said that this initiative will help in speeding up administrative work and result in saving money for the exchequer. He said that going paperless will ensure higher productivity and cost savings for the University and will enable efficient communication and collaboration among academic and administrative staff.
Those who were present on the occasion, included, Dr Ashfaq Ahmed Zarri, Registrar; Controller of Examination Mohd Ishaq, Deans and Heads of various teaching departments and officers of the university.
