KATHUA, May 27: In order to listen to public grievances and ensure time bound redressal, Minister of State, Fisheries, Cooperatives, Finance and Planning Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma today organised a public darbar cum public grievance camp at Doorang village of tehsil Billawar.
Responding to the demands of people, the Minister said better and improved infrastructure is high on the agenda of the Government and all out efforts are being made to take the development revolution to every nook and corner of the state.
Dr. Manohar listened to various grievances and developmental issues of the people and gave on spot directions to the concerned for early redressal of the issues brought up during the camp.
He said the Government is committed to all round development of all the three regions and sub-regions of the State, adding that rural and far-off areas are getting focused attention. He said mega development projects have been launched to improve infrastructure all across the State and improving public delivery is high on the agenda of the present dispensation.
People highlighted their problems regarding power cuts, demand for new electric poles, potable water, laying of new PHE lines and replacement of damaged hand pumps besides improved road connectivity.
The Minister addressed their grievances and assured for an early disposal.
