JAMMU, Jan 23: In order to increase the role of BMOs (Business Membership Organization also known as Industrial Associations) for the betterment of Industrial sector, the Foundation for MSME Cluster, New Delhi organized award programme for BMOs of all over the India.
The best three BMOs received the awards for the services provided by them in their respective areas. Bari Brahmana Industries Association received the award of Rs 50,000 as hand holding support to BBIA for its contribution on the topic of rehabilitation of sick industrial units in J & K State. The function for Responsible Indian BMO award was held on Friday at Delhi by the Foundation for MSME Cluster, New Delhi in which 163 Associations from all over India participated.
Lalit Mahajan, president and Ajay Langer, general secretary received the certificate of award which was given by Ms Ayumi Fujino, representative and Regional Director for South Asia of UNIDO on behalf of BBIA.
While speaking in the seminar, Lalit Mahajan, BBIA president, appreciated the steps taken by Foundation for MSME Cluster, New Delhi by organising such event for the better working of Industrial Associations for providing all sort of assistance to its members. He also conveyed his thanks to Madhav Lal (IAS) former secretary MSME Govt of India, Ravinder Director DIPP Ministry of Commerce & Industries Govt India and Anil Bharadwaj, secretary general, Federation of Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, for highlighting the various issues related to ease of doing business.
During the open forum discussions, Mr Mahajan conveyed his gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his initiative to create Industrial friendly attitude of the Govt Departments towards the MSME sector by removing the hurdles in the speedy growth of the sector. He further suggested that the concept of ease of doing business as per the scheme launched by the Central Govt should be implemented by the State Govts for the growth of the MSME sector throughout the country with the timely clearance of matters related to the Industrial Sectors.
