BASOHLI, Aug 30: Senior PDP leader, Ch Sudarshan, has expressed grave concern over dilapidated condition of Basohi road.
In a statement issued here today, the PDP leader has expressed serious concern over the Basohli road which was washed away in the raining season last year. He alleged that the concerned authorities are sleeping over the matter and the locals are suffering.
It may be recalled that about 250-300 meters of road was completely washed away near Ranjit Sagar dam, which is a hilly terrain. The people have no alternative but to travel on the damaged road putting their life in risk.
It a important road which leads to Ranjit Sagar Dam from Lakhanpur to Basohli. This damaged part of the road falls between villages Omank and Satwain on the bank of Ranjit Sagar.
Choudhary urged upon the R&B authorities to immediately coordinate with the concerned authorities and get the needful done on priority so that the people do not suffer any more.
