LOS ANGELES, Oct 13: Actress Krysten Ritter’s new comedy has been picked up by NBC.
‘Back On The Farm’ has been described as “Overboard meets Sweet Home Alabama”, reported Deadline.
The story will follow a Hollywood actress who is forced to move back to her family’s farm, away from the bright lights of Los Angeles, after her life suddenly implodes.
Maggie Bandur – who wrote the script for ‘Mission Control’, which Ritter also starred in – has penned the script.
Both Bandur and Ritter will act as executive producers on the project.
Ritter can next be seen in Tim Burton’s ‘Big Eyes’, which will be released on December 25 in the US. (PTI)
