Srinagar, Dec 26: The administration of GMC & Associated Hospital Baramulla today reacted to the videos circulating on the social media, questioning the integrity of institute as well as its administrators, and termed such attempts as a bid to malign the image of individuals for personal benefits.
In this regard, Medical Superintendent of Associated Hospital, Baramulla Dr Syed Masood told media persons that such people are frustrated after they did not receive the undue benefits that they were trying to get.
“These are anti-social elements that have got personal grudges as they used to work with us earlier in different capacities. And now they are not getting the contracts through illegal means. They are frustrated and have started propaganda against the hospital and its staff,” Dr Masood told media persons at Dak Bungalow Baramulla.
He said that the matter has been brought into the notice of the Government, police and other concerned agencies which will be looking into it.
“The hospital has done exceptional and now, some people who are not able to carry out illegal actives are trying to malign it. The attempts of character assassination are not going to work,” he said.
” I will not succumb to such pressure tactics. I am not ready to give any undue favours to anyone,” he said.
