Srinagar, May 31: Unknown persons decamped with an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) of State Bank of India (SBI), carrying about Rs 21-lakh in South Kashmir district of Anantnag, official sources said here today.
They said some unknown persons digged out an ATM machine at Achabal Adda in Anantnag and decamped with it.
A massive hunt has been launched to nab the looters and a case has been registered by police, they said.
The incidents of looting banks, particularly ATMs in South Kashmir has witnessed a surge in the Kashmir Valley.
