AKHNOOR, July 30: At a function here today Rotary Club Akhnoor elected Ashish Sarotia as its new President.
Chief Guest on the occasion was Rajeev Sharma, MLA Akhnoor who lauded the role of Rotary Club for various social activities particularly for doing wonderful work in basic education and successful heart surgeries of over seven ailing children.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarotia assured to continue the ongoing projects in his tenure and also to start new projects especially for literacy and sanitation.
The outgoing President Ranjeet Gupta welcomed the new one and his team.
Rajpaul Sharma presented vote of thanks.
S.K Sawhney, Assistant Governor of the Club was also present on the occasion.
