Asaram’s aide arrested, sent on 3-day police remand in Jammu

JAMMU :  Jammu Police arrested an aide of selfproclaimed ‘godman’ Bapu Asaram and sent him on three-day police remand today by the local court here.
“Bhola Nath, the former aide of Asaram in Jammu was taken into custody yesterday by the police and this morning he was produced before the court,” an official said here.
The Court granted three-day police remand to Bhola Nath.
He was booked on October 18 after a complaint was filed by one Vicky Kumar in the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court against the ‘godman’ alleging that he hatched a conspiracy to tarnish his image following which case under FIR number 168 has been registered in the Nowabad Police Station under sections 120-B, 194/211, 295/295 A, 153A, 383, 195 of Ranbir Penal Code.
The complainant had submitted an audio CD in the office of SSP Jammu and in the CJM court in which Bhoal Nath was found hatching conspiracy against Aasa Ram.
Asaram’s aide Bhola Nath had leveled allegations against Asaram him in a TV show that dead bodies of three children were buried in the Jammu based ashram of Aasa Ram.
