UDHAMPUR, Nov 2: Arya Pratinidhi Sabha J&K in its continuous efforts to extend relief to the flood affected people, organized its seventh relief camp at Lander in Udhampur.
During the camp, relief was provided to the people of far flung areas of Galiote, Latiyar, Katti, Kansal, Lander, Purani Bhutia, Malti, Dandots, Badda, Sadotta, Kotli and Diggi. Total 96 families were covered for distribution of relief material, which was provided by Sarvdeshik Arya Pratinidhi Sabha Delhi and Arya Veer Dal Delhi.
Steel utensils, clothes and woolen were distributed. Besides 29 solar lanterns were also provided to the people.
Earlier, a Yajan (Agnihotra) was performed to pray Almighty to grant peace and prosperity in Jammu Kashmir State. All the persons present there participated in the Yajan.
The members of relief team included Bharat Bhushan, Ravi Kant, Chanan Kumar and others.
