JAMMU, Dec 25: Arun Gupta from Arun Art Printers and Pankaj Sethi from Sethi Art Printers have been conferred National Awards for Excellence in Printing at 13th NAEP Edition 2018 from Thiru Sellur K Raju Minister of Co-Operation, Tamil Nadu Government at Madurai.
Arun Gupta again has been conferred one Gold National Award and Pankaj Sethi conferred one Gold and three Silver at National Award for Excellence in Printing at Madurai for maintaining proficiency and quality excellence in the field of printing consistently over a period of past four decades during a function organized by All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP).
Ravi Gupta, President J&K Offset Printers’ Association (JKOPA), Jammu has congratulated member of JKOPA for receiving National Award.
In this award function, AIFMP received entries in different categories including newspapers, book printing, posters, calendars, catalogue, diaries, packaging material, digital printing etc. which were divided into small, medium and big categories. This time the new editions of the award were kept for small printers also. The main categories included offset, screen printing, flexography, gravure, small offset and digital printing.
During the function attended by stalwarts of printing media, 350 entries were awarded. The highest number of entries was received from Mumbai, followed by Nagpur and New Delhi.
This is one of the most prestigious awards in the print industry recognized by Government of India, which was hosted by The Madurai District Offset Printers Association, Maduri. This 13th Edition of National Awards for Excellence in Printing witnessed a Pan-Indian participation as entries poured in from Jammu in the north to Cochin in the South, from Surat in the west to Imphal in the east as also from places like Dimapur, Viradhu.
