JAMMU, May 24: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion of Delta Force today organized a seminar at Girls Higher Secondary School, Kishtwar, in order to clarify the doubts of IIT aspirants of Chenab Valley.
The seminar was organized in connection with “Chenab Super 30 programme” launched by Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership (CSRL) in association with Delta Force.
Under the “Chenab Super 30 programme”, the talented youth of Chenab Valley will be given 11-month free residential coaching for clearing the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
Around 400 girls attended the seminar and got cleared their doubts about the pattern of the paper and the free residential coaching program to be run at Jammu subsequently.
Speaking on the occasion, Prahlad Bhagat, principal of the school remarked, “There is a lot of buzz in Kishtwar area regarding Chenab Super 30, which is a noble initiative to help girls of the area in achieving their dreams”.
An Army official on the occasion informed that the entrance exam for Chenab Super 30 will be held in the first week of June at various centres in the three districts of Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar. The interested students can register themselves with nearest Rashtriya Rifles Battalion located in their areas, he added.
