Srinagar, Aug 26: A medical-cum-veterinary camp was organized by army at Amarpura village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A defence spokesman said a joint team of doctors from army and civil administration, including lady doctors, nursing assistants and aaramedics participated in providing medical assistance to more than 500 people, including men, women and children.
“This was in response to the constant request by the locals of the area for medical attention as they find it difficult to get medical cover, being a remote area,” he said.
Besides this, the defence spokesman said, more than 500 Livestock were also treated.
