SRINAGAR, May 18: Army in coordination with Borderless World Foundation organized a medical camp to address the health problems of the locals in Manasbal and nearby villages of Bandipora district today.
An Army spokesman said that more than 700 locals from Asham, Safapora, Trisha and Nesbal were given preliminary medical assistance along with free medication.
He said a team of 13 doctors including gynecologist, pediatrician, heart specialist, physician, ophthalmologist and orthopedic doctors addressed the medical problems of the locals. “The demand for such a camp had been coming from the locals of the nearby villages and this medical camp was welcomed by the locals as it provided the much needed relief to them,” he said.
