SRINAGAR, Feb 7: A Seminar on ‘Harmful Effects of Drug on Mental and Physical Health’ was organized by the Army at Mind Tree Coaching Centre in Baramulla.
An Army spokesman said the seminar started with an introduction to Drugs and its types, addiction and symptoms. Thereafter, counselors covered the harmful and terminal effects of Drug abuse. Finally, how Drug addiction is ruining the youth of our country and leading them into a dark and inimical world was touched upon.
“Counselors also explained about the role of family and friends in helping the victim in his fight against drug addiction and the seminar concluded with an interactive session between the students and the counselors,” he said
“It is extremely important to eradicate this problem from the society and Army will continue to fight against this menace of Drug abuse in the Valley,” he added.
