Jammu, Apr 30: Army Battalion, based at Batote, equipped the Computer Lab of Govt Higher Secondary School, Batote with twelve Computers, UPS, a Projector and Modern furniture under Sadbhavana initiative.
The Lab was inaugurated by Deputy General Officer Commanding, Delta Force in presence of Vijay Kumar Soni, Chief Education Officer Ramban, Saifullah Shah, Naib Tehsildar Batote, teachers, students and Officers from the Army. He exhorted all the students to derive maximum benefit from the computer lab and strive to become responsible citizens so as to contribute in the development of nation.
Vijay Kumar Soni wholeheartedly thanked the Indian Army and said that Army has always been helpful and alive to the aspirations of children. He added that provisioning of Lab will provide computer based education to the children for their bright future.
The occasion was followed by distribution of sweets to the students. The student were delighted and assured to study with zeal and to become a responsible citizen of the Nation.
