Srinagar, May 1: Northern Army Commander Lt General Ranbir Singh today reviewed the prevailing security situation in Kashmir.
The Army Commander visited various army formations in Kashmir valley and reviewed the security situation. He was also given detailed account of recently conducted anti-militancy operations and latest strategy.
Lt General Singh held interactions with senior officers at Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar.
Later in the day, the Army Commander also visited to 144th Battalion of Central Reserve Police deployed in Dal Lake. He appreciated round the clock efforts of paramilitary troops and their synergetic teamwork with the Army and J&K Police to maintain peace and tranquillity in the Valley.
