JAMMU, Nov 12: Four Army men including a Colonel were injured in two separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police official, seven people including an Army officer, got injured when an Army gypsy and a luxurious car collided head-on late Saturday night near graveyard in Sarwal area here.

He said that an Army officer of Colonel rank and three Jawans were travelling in the gypsy, while three civilians were in the car. “All of them sustained injuries in the collision,” police said.
They said that the injured were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu and their condition was stated to be stable. He said the injured were identified as Col Baljeet Singh of 10 Division Akhnoor, Army jawans– Bijender Singh, Vijay Singh and Pawan Kumar, and civilians-Shanky son of Ramesh Singh of Talab Tillo, Vishal son of Raj Kumar of Roop Nagar and Pranab son of Jyoti Kumar of Talab Tillo.
An accident also occurred today at Jourian in Akhnoor area, where a speeding mini-bus rolled down the road. In the mishap, three persons were injured and they were shifted to GMCH Jammu. The injured were identified as Asha Devi (45) wife of Bachan Lal, resident of Thandi Choui, her 2-year-old daughter, Poonam and Mukhtyar Bibi (40) wife of Yousuf, resident of Kandi, Akhnoor.
In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
