JAMMU, Sept 18: Army and police today busted a hideout of the militants in a forest area of Sangaldan in Ramban district and recovered arms, ammunition and explosives material.
The search operation was conducted on a specific input by Police Post Sangaldan, Police Component Gool and 23 Rashtriya Rifles in a forest area.

Recoveries include one UBGL with one pendulum sight and one cartridge, one revolver, one Chinese pistol with magazines, two magazines of .303, one buoynet, four AK magazines, 198 rounds of 7.62 mm, 69 rounds of 9 mm one binocular, one camera, one wireless handset and one compensator.
A case in this connection has been registered at Gool Police Station for further investigations but no arrests have been made so far.
The searching parties were led by Major Sarthak Nigam, SDPO Viqar Ahmed, SHO Nazir Ahmed and PSI Aakash Magotra under the supervision of SSP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
