KISHTWAR, Sept 9: Apni Party has intensified its membership drive in Kishtwar district as the Party is receiving encouraging response to its policy and agenda.
In this connection, local leaders of the Apni Party including Masood Mattoo organized a meeting at district headquarters. The meeting was chaired by provincial secretary and in-charge membership drive, Dr Rohit Gupta while State secretary Mohinder Parihar, vice president Apni Trade Union Sheikh Abdul Latief among other office bearers were also present in the meeting.
During the meeting, the District Committee members informed about the issues of the people, ground work, and membership drive in the hilly district that has garnered support from the people at the grass root level.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rohit Gupta emphasized upon the office bearers to expedite the membership drive and regularly hold interaction with the people to educate them about policy and agenda of the Party. He said that the Party aims to bring unity, peace and prosperity in J&K.
Mohinder Parihar also spoke on the occasion and discussed various issues of the district that were directly linked to the rural and hilly areas facing underdevelopment, unemployment, poor health, educational and other issues.
Earlier, many people joined the Apni Party in presence of the Party leaders expressing their faith in the leadership of Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari.
