JAMMU: In yet another incident of attempt to suicide, another teenager girl today made bid on life and jumped into the River Tawi from a bridge in this winter capital of the state.
“A teenager girl namely Tania, 17, this afternoon jumped from a bridge into River Tawi,” police here said.
They said that the girl survived, while locals and flying squad of police rushed to the spot and shifted her to hospital.
“She is stable now, but we are investigating the matter and victim’s statement will be recorded later,” police said.
Last week a girl and a woman also jumped into the river and died. (AGENCIES)
