Due to non- availability of internet services, many aspirant Doctors were facing difficulties in submitting their application forms through on- line facility in Kashmir valley. On the other hand, National Board of Examinations (NBE) has already put out a schedule for the conduct of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) – PG 2020. While the last date of submitting the forms ends on November 21, aspirants are not registering themselves with the speed it requires due to the said handicap.
While the exams are set to be conducted on January 5 next year, scores of doctors who otherwise were intending to appear in MD and MS degrees are handicapped because of non availability of internet services. Why the administration has not extended the option of applying manually so as to not cause any chances to surface to play with the career of the concerned doctors from Srinagar and other areas of the UT. Alternatively, they should officially be allowed to do it at Jammu where at least, broad band services were available. Available select kiosks are short in number in the valley and remain over crowded. The Government must take a call and make proper arrangements for the concerned aspirant doctors.
