Anila gets ‘Nari Rattan Samman’

JAMMU, Mar 16: Renowned educationist, writer and artist of the State, Anila Singh Charak was conferred upon ‘Nari Rattan Samman’ by Kavya Rangoli Hindi Sahityak Patrika of Kanpur, recently.
The honor was conferred upon her for her meritorious services in the field of literature, education, social services and health. Charak has worked as a principal in Atomic Energy Central School/College in Atomic Energy Education Centre under Department of Atomic Energy, Mumbai.
She worked as a principal in various part of the country and won Homi Bhabha Award for two times for being the best principal. She is also the recipient of Bharat Shiksha Rattan Award conferred upon by Global Society for Health and Education, New Delhi.
In the field of literature, she was honoured by Bhartendu Harishchander Samiti, Kota by conferring upon her Sahitya Shri Samman. She has also been honoured by Wak Sanstha, Kolkata for achieving excellence in literature.
She has also received Best Book Award for her book ‘Nange Paanv Zindagi’ from J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages, Jammu in 2008.
