Srinagar, Dec 25: Duk-htaran-e-Millat (DeM) chairperson Asiya Andrabi and her aide Fehmeeda Sofi were today released from Central Jail Srinagar after their eight month long detention.
A DeM spokesperson said that Andrabi and her secretary Fehmeeda Sofi were released from Central Jail today. The duo was arrested by police in April this year and subsequently sent to Amphalla Jail after being booked under Public Safety Act (PSA).
However, a court here quashed their PSA early this month but they were then held in Central Jail by police.
