RAJOURI, Aug 24: An Ambulance driver posted at Primary Health Centre, Budhal has been attached to the office of Chief Medical Officer, Rajouri for unauthorised absent from his duty since August 13, 2018.
The attachment orders were issued after BMO Kandi ( Kotranka), Dr Iqbal Malik on the basis of information received from ZMO, Budhal, forwarded a communication to the CMO Rajouri Dr Suresh Gupta. The CMO was informed that Ambulance driver, Mohd Bashir, against whom several complaints were already pending, left Station (PHC Budhal) without informing the Incharge Medical Officer and parked the ambulance in the hospital premises and left without handing over the keys to any one in hospital on August 13 and has not reported back since then.
CMO Rajouri, when contacted and asked for any action in this regard, claimed that driver has been attached to his office after a letter was received from BMO Kandi today and further action will be taken against him.
