JAMMU, Apr 28: A familiar name in the field of Karate in the State of Jammu and Kashmir, Ambedkar Gupta has been awarded 4th Dan Master Grade in Karate by World Karate Federation (WKF), the world’s biggest karate organization, recognized by International Olympic Committee.
The award has brought Jammu and Kashmir on the World’s Karate Map as it is the highest Black Belt Degree ever achieved by any karateka from J&K.
Ambedkar has set so many milestones in the field of karate and has the honour of being awarded with 3rd Dan Black Belt by WKF in Malaysia during the World Karate Championship, way back in 2011.
The president of Amateur Karate Do Association of Jammu and Kashmir, Ambedkar is already in the panel of coaches of All India Karate Do Federation (AIKF).
