JAMMU, Mar 6: MLC Surinder Ambardar today kick-started the work of the community shed at Shiv Mandir, Shardha Colony, Patoli Brahmana, here today.
The shed will be constructed at a cost of Rs 7.40 lakh which has been released through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) of the Legislator.
Amabrdar was accompanied by the officials of the Rural Development Department along with scores of BJP workers and prominent citizens of the locality including president.
While speaking on the occasion BJP Legislator said that community shed was the long pending demand of the residents of the area which has now been redressed.
He further said that he will ensure all the important community gatherings of the locality will now get the proper place to perform rituals.
MLC also highlighted the policies and programmes of Narendra Modi led Central Government, which he said is on the path of building a new and strong India.
He said the public welfare schemes and projects launched by Modi Government during last five years are a step forward in that direction.
He said the projects brought for J&K during the time of Modi Government are aimed at developing the State and making its people prosperous.
The function among others was attended by ex-Sarpanch Subash Sharma, president of the Colony, AK Bakshi, Badhari Nath Khar, KK Raina, Avtar Ji Pandita, Mohan Lal, Radha Krishna, PK Khar, Roshan Lal, Makhan Lal and Sanjay Raina.
