JAMMU, Dec 19: Alexander Memorial School, Eid Gah Road, Jammu celebrated Annual Sports Day in the School premises, here today.
Rajesh Gupta, MLA Jammu East was the chief guest on the occasion, while Jahangir Mir, Director General Youth Services and Sport s was the guest of honour.
The Principal of the School, Esther Williams presented welcome address, which was followed by Flag Hoisting Ceremony and the declaration of the Annual Sports Meet open.
The display of Dumb Bells and Mass PT was followed by Academic Awards.
Various sports events were held and the winners were felicitated by the dignitaries on the occasion.
The chief guest and the guest of honour lauded the efforts of the School Management for holding a beautiful programme.
The programme was conducted by SK Munshi, Co-Ordinator, AMS and the vote of thanks was presented by TN Kaul.
