JAMMU, July 10: Akshay Sharma has been selected for the upcoming Asian Cadet Judo Championship in the 60 kg weight category, scheduled to be held at Bangkok in Thailand.
Akshay Sharma has been selected on the basis of his splendid performance in the National level Ranking Tournament held at New Delhi and now he is attending the Indian camp organised by the Sports Authority of India.
The team will leave for the participation in Asian Cadet Championship on July 14.
President of Jammu & Kashmir Judo Association, Suresht Dutta and other office bearers congratulated Akshay Sharma and his coach Rameshwar Singh Jamwal for this achievement and wished them best wishes for the upcoming tournament.
