JAMMU, Aug 2: A deputation of All J&K Patwari Association (AJKPA) under the leadership of its president, Raman Raj Sharma, today met Revenue Minister, Abdul Rehman Veeri and discussed the long pending demands of Patwaries.
The demands discussed by the deputation include conducting DPC, making transparent transfer policy and creation of Patwar Halqa and Qirdawar Circle. The Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured them of redressing their demands.
Provincial President of the association, Mohd Farooq, Saleem Mohd (Province secretary), Kaleem Ahmed (district president, Jammu) and Viney Kumar, State executive member, were part of the deputation.
