Advisor Sharma apprised about problems of Majalta tehsil

UDHAMPUR, July 29: A delegation led by Nirmal Kesar, State Youth Convenor All Jammu Kashmir Panchayat Conference (AJKPC), called on K K Sharma, Advisor to the Governor and apprised him of various problems being faced by people of tehsil Majalta.
The delegation highlighted the issues like frequent power cuts, shortage of water, shortage of staff in hospital & school, demand of new transformer, bad condition of roads like Dassian to Sail road, Khoon Masjid to Nardie Mohalla and others link roads of block Khoon .
Kesar told to Advisor that even after nine months since Panchayat elections, the development activities in rural areas have not been initiated due to non-availability of funds. Panchayats are virtually defunct and rural populace is crying for development, he added
The Advisor, after giving a patient hearing, assured deputation that all their genuine demands would be looked into and the concerned officers would be directed to address the projected grievances at an earliest.
Those who were part of the delegation, included Srpanch Ferozdin, Naib Sarpanch Charan Dass, Naib Sarpanch Namrita Bali, Panch Sukhdev Singh and others.
